自從「推測設計：設計、想像與社會夢想」一書中文版在台灣上市之後，推測 設計一詞忽然間得到了許多關注。雖然推測設計(Speculative Design)一詞早已廣 為學界所討論，但它並非一種新型態的設計取向或方法；它其實更像是一種思 維，一種創造力。對未來推測與想像的能力，無疑是現今設計師必須具備的重 要素養之一。 "What-If scenario",「『要是……會怎麼樣』情境」，是一種藉故脫離現實、懷抱違 常構思的一種方法。藉由設定一個與現實大相徑庭的情境，然後考慮在此情境 下的各項細節，藉此做法來開拓辯論和討論的空問。 請從你的生活經驗裡，身處的環境、觀察到的事物……等等，大至社會政治經 濟議題，小至個人每天的日常活動。選擇一個面向來做為你的題材，想像一個 「與現實大相徑庭的情境」，藉著我們發給你的考試用紙，用你最擅長的表現手 法，以圖文並茂的方式，將你對這個「情境」的想像描繪出來。 . ※評分標準為概念意境之闡述以及視覺構成的美感，以及具個人獨特見解的想 像力，所以請至少包含下列前兩個項目： 1. "What-If scenario”的細節描述：字數不限，須清楚交代個人觀點。 2. 情境畫面表現：藝術性、設計感與美感。 3. 其他：視個人需要而定，輔助你概念的說明與呈現之其他項目，形式不拘， 但請勿於考試用紙上作立體之創作，違者不予計分。

II-1. Intellectual freedom can exist only where two esscntial conditions are met: first, that all individuals have the right to hold any belief on any subject and to convey their ideas in any form they deem appropriate, and second, that society makes an equal commitment to the right of unrestricted access to information and ideas regardless of the communication medium used, the content of work, and the viewpoints of both the author and the receiver of information. Authority is constructed in that various communities may recognize diflerent types of authority. It is contextual in that the inforration need may help to determine the level of authority required. New challenges arise for researchers and practitioners as we move away from concentration on the technology of searching, and turn our attention to using information for problem solving and creativity in the workplace and daily living. The links between information behavior, information literacy and the impact of information have been explored from the user's perspective of information seeking and use and the model of the Information Search Process (ISP).
