First, there’s your luggage restriction. Budget airlines typically charge for checked and sometimes even carry-on bags, and those that are too large or heavy will cost you money. Therefore, always check with the airline’s website first. Then measure and weigh your bags so you don’t have to pay an additional fee. The next thing to consider is your stomach. Don’t expect any free snacks or meals on your flight, as budget airlines charge for food. So, eat before you go to the airport, and remember to bring some snacks on your flight. Budget airlines may be more economical, but there are a couple of things about them to take into consideration. First, they use airlines which are designed to hold the most seats possible. This means that you will have very little personal space while flying. Second, they sometimes fly to lesser-known airports instead of the more popular ones. Make sure you know where a flight lands before buying a ticket. It’s also essential that you read the cancellation policy. Most tickets aren’t refundable, and changes in reservations cannot be made.
