(一) The International Aquaculture and Fisheries Exposition Taiwan is an important event for the Asian fishery industry. This year’s focus will be on intelligent marine fishing and aquaculture solutions. The exposition will highlight Taiwan’s innovative technology and operational models from harvesting in the habitats to the food supply on the table, emphasizing sustainable fisheries and integrating the supply chain.

(二) Shark finning is a cruel process that must be stopped, not only for the cruelty that is placed upon the animals but for the survival of shark species. DNA tests conducted on shark fins being sold have revealed that some of the commonly traded fins come from threatened and highly endangered species. Shark populations are declining because of overfishing, prompting many countries to implement bans to protect them.
